In this day and age, the internet is a medium of communication that have surpassed what has been thought to only provide information. Now, the internet is a place where people share thoughts and ideas, meet with other people, share daily activities, sell and a lot more.

The good news is that, this also opened a new avenue for people to find work. Yup, you read it right, working online. Working online is now possible through several websites that serves as a marketplace for jobs. Their purpose is to meet the buyers (employers) to sellers (employees) online and protect their interests at the same time.

There are several jobs online like taking surveys, writing blog posts, designing banners, ads, creating webpages, setting up websites and lots more. However, caution is needed because there are others who takes advantage over people desperate to earn extra income. You have to remember that there is no such thing as "get rich quick" schemes and if you are forced to pay money for a software. Well, not all of them are scam but you might have to look for reviews online and check if other people have already used it and what do they think about the product. If you are willing to subscribe, then make sure that you have read their policies and agreements, and check if they are offering a full refund of your money if you are not satisfied with the outcome.

If you are a newbie and you want to learn more about working online, here is a great blog post about work at home moms that shows tutorials on different gigs that you can find online.

Micro jobs or telecommute jobs are those jobs that is contractual in nature. For example, Fiverr is a marketplace of jobs where you can sell your services for $5 only.

Here is a list of websites like Fiverr:

  1. Homegiggers - works like fiverr and offers services for as low as $5.
  2. FiveBucks - pays via paypal
  3. GigBucks - pays via paypal
  4. Gigswood - pays via paypal
It's best if you sign up for as many websites as you can and advertise your services. This way, you can reach more potential buyers. Also, deliver good quality results and invest in the word of mouth. People will come to know you and demand your services. If you have gathered enough experience already, you can do freelancing or make this gig full time.

Freelancing sure is fun when you think about the fact that you don't commute, have boss, nosy co-employee! ^.^ Please how can I get in touch with you?
